Skills Coach & 2010 Head Coach
Joshua Hagel
Coach Hags grew up playing minor hockey, and channeled his love for the sport into coaching/training hockey players. He has been coaching athletes for 7 years, consisting of skills-coaching, strength-and-conditioning, and 6 years coaching behind the bench; 4 of them as the head coach. During this time, Hags has worked with hockey players across many different age groups and elite leagues.

2009 Head Coach
Brad Newans
Brad grew up in Camrose and played most of his minor hockey in town and at Athol Murray College of Norte Dame. From there, Brad played one year of juniors before playing a year overseas in Sweden. Brad has 3 years of hockey coaching experience; one year coaching a youth club in Märsta Sweden, a year of u18aa, and a year of u15aa.

2011 Head Coach
Matt Raymond
Matt grew up in Camrose Playing most of his minor hockey in town. Matt then Played 4 years of Jr. Hockey; 1 with theDrumheller Dragons and 3 with the Flin Flon Bombers; making a Centennial Cup appearance. After aging out of junior Matt came back to camrose to start his coaching career as Head Coach of the Camrose u16AA Vikings . Matt places a high value into game transferable skill development.

2012 Head Coach
Tyler Bellamy
Tyler currently coaches the CAMROSE U11A Vikings. He has been coaching minor hockey for the past six seasons.
Tyler’s playing experience includes one year in the KIJHL and three years in the BCHL/AJHL. Finishing his Junior Hockey career with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL. Following the completion of his Junior A career he attended training camp with the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL.
Tyler played Five Seasons for the Augustana Vikings of the ACAC, twice leading his team in scoring. Tyler was named an assistant Captain in his third and fourth years at Augustana and finishing his collegial career as the Captain of the Augustana Vikings while being named team MVP.
Tyler‘a coaching experience includes being an assistant coach with the Augustana Vikings of the ACAC from 2011-2019. While a member of the Vikings coaching staff he won the ACAC championship in 2012.

Goalie Coach
Donnie Wheele
Donny grew up in Wetaskiwin playing my minor hockey there before going on to play junior A with the Bonnyville Pontiacs & the Prince George
Spruce Kings.
Donny has been coaching hockey for over 7 years and have experience as a head coach, assistant coach and goalie coach and is a Hockey Alberta level 2 goalie coach and have been coaching goalies of all ages and skill levels for over 5 years.
Donny is currently goalie lead for Wetaskiwin Minor Hockey and have been the goalie coach for multiple winter and spring hockey teams.
Donny have also instructed at numerous goalie camps and have had the chance to learn from and work along side some exceptional goalies and coach’s. His approach to coaching goalies is to build a solid relationship and then to encompass all aspects of being a goalie from their physical & technical abilities to their mental health and wellbeing.
